The application allows you to schedule charging in a cheaper night tariff, adjust the current intensity, track charging history and cost estimates, share accounts with family or employees, and perform OTA firmware updates. Support for OCPP 1.6 JSON means the station can be linked to standard charging management platforms, which is important if you install the charger in a company, hotel, or residential building.
For outdoor installation, two data points are crucial: IP54 enclosure protection and an operating range of -25 to 50 °C, so the charger withstands both coastal humidity and continental winters. The safety package is complete — protection against overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overheating, leakage current, disconnected PE, and lightning, with type A leakage protection and DC 6 mA detection, meaning no additional expensive DC protection device is needed. Optional Dynamic Load Balancing adjusts the charging power to the facility's current consumption and prevents the main fuse from tripping when large consumers are turned on simultaneously. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
