Gaming headsets — what really gives an edge in game
In a game a headset is not sound but information: where footsteps come from, how far the shot was, whether your team hears you. That is why gaming headsets are chosen by different criteria than music ones. At MobileLand we offer headsets for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and phone, wired and wireless.
Connection — check this first
- 3.5 mm (4-pole) — works with everything: PC, PS5, Xbox controller, Switch, phone. The safest choice.
- USB — PC and PS5 only (not Xbox); often carries virtual 7.1 and RGB.
- 2.4 GHz wireless — no lag, with a USB dongle; PC and PS5, Xbox only on marked models.
- Bluetooth — phone and Switch; on PC and consoles it lags, except in dual mode.
Sound: stereo or 7.1
Good stereo with a wide soundstage gives better positioning than poor "7.1". Virtual surround is a software effect — it helps in some games and blurs in others. Large drivers (50 mm) and closed cups that isolate the room matter more.
Microphone and comfort
A noise-cancelling microphone that detaches or flips up is standard; the team hears you without the keyboard in the background. For multi-hour sessions: soft cushions (memory foam), light build (under 320 g) and a headband that does not press on the crown. For summer, fabric instead of leatherette.

Frequently asked questions
Do gaming headsets work with PS5 and Xbox?
With a 3.5 mm plug — yes, into the controller of both consoles. USB headsets work on PS5 and PC but not on Xbox. 2.4 GHz wireless works on PS5 and PC; for Xbox look for models marked "for Xbox".
Is 7.1 surround worth it?
Virtual 7.1 is a software effect over stereo drivers — it helps some in FPS games and blurs positioning for others. Good stereo with a wide image is often better. Do not pay more just for the 7.1 label.
My microphone is not heard on PC.
Check that the headset is selected as the input device in Windows sound settings and is not muted on the cable (many have a switch on the volume control). For 3.5 mm headsets on a PC with two separate jacks you need the Y-adapter (in the box).
What is the warranty?
12–24 months depending on the manufacturer (stated on the product), against manufacturing defects, with a fiscal receipt; handled in Montenegro, in our stores.
How do I pay and how long does delivery take?
Payment is cash on delivery; courier delivery across Montenegro takes 24–48 h from confirmation. You can also collect in one of the 7 MobileLand stores.
