Hard drives — clearance

Hard drive shortage — we have them in stock, barely used

The world market is short of hard drives and prices keep rising. MobileLand has 3–5 TB drives in stock that ran in a Chia farm — in farming the drive mostly sits idle, so they are barely used. Each one is tested and shows 100% health, and we sell them at clearance prices.

How we test every drive

SMART diagnostics — we read the drive's built-in parameters: reallocated and pending sectors, read errors, power-on hours.
Only drives at 100% health pass — not a single bad sector; the rest are not sold.
12-month warranty on every drive — if it fails we replace it or refund you. Ask for the test result at pick-up.

Hard drives on clearance in Montenegro — tested, with warranty

Hard drives are in short supply and prices of new ones rise month after month. MobileLand has 3, 4 and 5 TB drives in stock that ran in a Chia farm. In Chia farming a drive mostly sits idle and only occasionally reads, so the mechanics are practically unworn — which is why we call them barely used.

What "100% health" means

Before sale every drive passes a SMART test (the drive's built-in diagnostics): no bad sectors, no read errors, 100% health. We only sell drives that pass, and each comes with a 12-month warranty.

Frequently asked questions

Why are these hard drives so cheap?

Because they are used and we sell them as a clearance. They ran in a Chia farm, where a drive mostly sits idle, so they are barely used. Hard drives are in short supply and new ones keep getting pricier — these are tested, under warranty, at clearance prices.

What does it mean that a drive ran in a Chia farm?

Chia is a cryptocurrency that is "farmed" with disk space, not with a processor. The drive receives data once and then mostly sits idle, reading occasionally. There is no constant writing like on a classic server, so the mechanics are practically unworn.

How do I know the drive is really healthy?

Every drive passes a SMART test — the drive's built-in diagnostics — before sale. We only sell drives at 100% health: no bad sectors and no read errors. You can ask for the test result when picking up in a store.

What is the warranty on a used drive?

12 months on every drive, under the MobileLand store terms. If the drive fails within that time we replace it or refund you.

Which drive for NAS and which for video surveillance?

For NAS and 24/7 operation — WD Red 4 TB. For DVR/NVR surveillance — Seagate SkyHawk 3 TB. For a PC, games and backups — Toshiba P300 3 TB. For a laptop and portability — the Intenso/WD 5 TB external 2.5" USB drive.

Are the drives internal or external?

WD Red, Toshiba P300 and Seagate SkyHawk are internal 3.5" SATA drives (installed in a PC, NAS or DVR). The Intenso/WD 5 TB is an external 2.5" USB drive — it needs no power adapter.

How many are there and how do I order?

Quantities are limited and apply while stock lasts — each product shows availability per store. Order online with cash on delivery (24–48 h delivery across Montenegro) or pick up in a store.
