Tablet case — protection, stand or keyboard

A tablet without a case is a glass tray waiting to fall off the table. A tablet case does three jobs: protects, holds the tablet at a viewing angle and, on keyboard models, turns it into a small laptop. At MobileLand cases are sorted by brand and model — iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Lenovo, Huawei, Xiaomi Pad — because tablets of the same brand differ in dimensions and camera position.

Types

• Folio (smart cover) — thin, wakes and sleeps the screen by magnet, two-angle stand. The most common choice for adults.
• Rugged for kids (EVA foam) — thick, with a handle and stand, colourful; survives drops and being stood on. For preschool and school.
• 360° rotating — turns to portrait and landscape; for the kitchen and recipes.
• With keyboard — Bluetooth keyboard built into the case, often with a touchpad; for work, school and typing.
• Sleeve — for carrying in a backpack alongside another case.

How to pick the right size

Read the exact model on the back of the tablet or in Settings — "iPad 10.2" (7th/8th/9th gen)", "iPad Air 5", "Galaxy Tab A9+", "Tab S9 FE". Screen diagonal alone is not enough: two 10.4" tablets can have a different camera and button layout. For tablets with a stylus (Apple Pencil, S Pen) choose a case with a pen holder.
