Which charger for Xiaomi or Redmi?
Newer Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco phones use USB-C and charge with any USB-C charger. Proprietary fast charging (HyperCharge, e.g. 33, 67 or 120 W) runs at full speed only with a Xiaomi charger and cable; with a standard USB-C PD charger the phone charges, but slower.
My Redmi has a small old port — which cable?
That is micro USB — older Redmi models have it (e.g. 7A, 9A, 9C). Use a micro USB cable with a standard 2 A charger.
Can a stronger charger damage my phone?
No — the phone draws only the power it supports; a 65 W charger charges a phone at the phone's own speed. The only risk is cheap uncertified chargers (no CE) with unstable voltage.
