Selfie stick — which type for whom

A selfie stick is still the fastest way to fit more people and more background into the frame — and new models are also a tripod, a remote and a holder. At MobileLand we stock models for iPhone and Android, Bluetooth or wired, from pocket size to 1.5 m.

Types

• Wired (3.5 mm) — no battery or pairing, the button on the handle triggers through the headphone jack; works only on phones with a 3.5 mm port. The cheapest.
• Bluetooth — the handle button pairs like earphones and triggers on any iPhone or Android; the battery lasts months.
• 2-in-1 (selfie stick + tripod) — legs at the bottom of the handle unfold and the stick becomes a tripod up to 1–1.5 m, with a detachable Bluetooth remote. The best-selling type: travel, TikTok and video calls with one device.
• Mini / pocket — 15–20 cm folded, fits next to the phone; for concerts and nights out.
• With LED light — a small ring light at the top for night selfies.

What to watch for

The holder should take the phone with its case (up to ~90 mm wide for large models) and rotate portrait/landscape. Length: 70–80 cm is enough for 4–5 people; 1–1.5 m for panoramas and filming yourself from a distance on the tripod legs. Material: an aluminium tube lasts years, plastic loosens.
