How it works and with what

iPhone 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 — have the built-in MagSafe ring; a magnetic power bank sticks straight to the phone or to a MagSafe case.
iPhones without MagSafe and Android (Samsung, Xiaomi, Pixel) — need a thin magnetic ring plate on the case (included with some models) or a magnetic case; wireless charging works on any Qi phone.
Case — silicone and clear up to 2 mm is fine; a thick case or one with a metal plate in the middle blocks charging.

Speed and capacity

Wireless charging runs at 7.5 W (iPhone over Qi), 15 W (Qi2 / MagSafe-compatible models) or 10–15 W for Android. That is slower than a cable, but enough for topping up through the day. Most magnetic models also have a USB-C port for fast cable charging (20 W) and for recharging the power bank itself. 5000 mAh is one charge and the thickness of a card; 10000 mAh is two charges and noticeably heavier on the phone.

What to watch for

The magnet harms neither the phone nor chip bank cards in a MagSafe wallet, but keep magnetic-stripe cards away. Power bank and phone warm up during wireless charging — that is normal; do not charge them under a pillow or in the sun. A fold-out stand on the power bank holds the phone at an angle for video calls.

Does a magnetic power bank work with my phone?

Directly with iPhone 12 and newer (MagSafe). With older iPhones and Android you need a magnetic ring on the case or a MagSafe case; wireless charging then works if the phone supports Qi (Samsung S/Z, Pixel, Xiaomi flagships).

How fast does it charge wirelessly?

7.5 W on an iPhone over Qi, up to 15 W on Qi2/MagSafe-compatible models — roughly 1–1.5 % per minute. For faster charging most magnetic models also have a USB-C port for a cable (20 W).

Does a case get in the way?

A thin silicone or clear case (up to 2 mm) is fine. A thick, leather or metal-plate-in-the-middle case blocks charging. MagSafe cases have a ring that strengthens the hold.

What is the warranty and how long does a power bank last?

12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Quality cells endure 500–1000 cycles (2–4 years). Do not leave it empty for months and do not keep it in a car in the sun.
