How to choose a phone case

A case is the one accessory that stays on your phone 24 hours a day, so it is worth choosing by three things: the exact model, how you use the phone, and whether protection or looks matter more to you. At MobileLand cases are sorted by brand and model (Samsung, iPhone, Xiaomi, Huawei, Honor, Realme, Motorola…), and the filter on the left narrows the choice by type and colour.

Case types and who they suit

• Silicone (TPU) — thin, soft, absorbs minor knocks well. The most common everyday choice.
• Clear — keeps the phone's look; pick one with reinforced corners so it does not yellow or crack.
• Flip / book — protects the screen too and holds a card; practical for older users and for work.
• Rugged (armor, 360°) — for site work, outdoors and kids; thicker, but survives a drop onto concrete.
• Magnetic (MagSafe) — for wireless chargers and magnetic mounts; a must if you have such a holder in the car.

What to check before buying

Make sure the case has a raised lip around the screen and camera — that is the difference between a scratch and a crack when the phone lands face down. If you use a screen protector, choose a case that does not press on the glass edges, otherwise the glass lifts off. Read the model in Settings (About phone) rather than from memory: S23 and S23 FE, or A54 and A55, are not the same size.
