What is specific to Samsung Galaxy batteries

Older models (J series, A5/A7 2016) have removable batteries — a one-minute swap.
How to identify the right battery

- Capacity (mAh) equal to the original or slightly higher; suspiciously large figures are not real.
- A protection board (BMS) against overcharging — all ours have one.
- A fresh battery: batteries age on the shelf too, so buy where there is turnover.
