Samsung Galaxy battery — when to replace and which to take

Replacement batteries for Samsung Galaxy phones (Galaxy S24, S24 Ultra, S23, A55, A35, A25, A15, A54, A34, A14, Z Flip and Z Fold…), by model. A battery is a consumable: after 500–800 cycles (2–3 years) capacity drops to 70–80 %, the phone dies at 20–30 %, slows in the cold and jumps in percentage. A replacement brings the phone back to life for a fraction of a new one.

What is specific to Samsung Galaxy batteries

Samsung batteries carry an EB-B… code (e.g. EB-BA556ABY for the A55) — found on the old battery or in our listing under the model. On Samsungs the back comes off with heat and the battery is held by tape; the A series is easier to replace than the S series with its glass back. Older models (J series, A5/A7 2016) have removable batteries — a one-minute swap.

How to identify the right battery

  • The code from the old battery or the exact phone model — our listings carry both.
  • Capacity (mAh) equal to the original or slightly higher; suspiciously large figures are not real.
  • A protection board (BMS) against overcharging — all ours have one.
  • A fresh battery: batteries age on the shelf too, so buy where there is turnover.

Replacement

If the back is lifting or the screen is separating from the frame, the battery has swollen — stop charging and replace it immediately. We replace batteries on the spot in our stores; if you do it yourself, you need a tool kit and patience with the glued back. 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects, 24–48 h delivery across Montenegro, cash on delivery.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know the battery in my Samsung needs replacing?
It dies at 20–30 %, jumps in percentage, drains in a few hours unused, or the back is lifting (swollen battery — replace immediately). After 2–3 years that is expected.
How do I find the Samsung battery code?
The old battery reads EB-B… (e.g. EB-BA556ABY for the A55). If you cannot open the phone, the exact model is enough (Settings → About phone → Model number, e.g. SM-A556B) — our listings are tied to the model too.
Do you replace the battery in store and how long does it take?
Yes — in our stores, usually the same day (30–60 minutes depending on the model). Bring the phone; the fitting price depends on whether the back is glued.
What is the warranty on a battery?
12 months against manufacturing defects. Natural capacity loss with use is not a claim; a battery that loses more than 20 % in the first year or swells — is.
How do I pay and how long does delivery take?
Payment is cash on delivery; courier delivery across Montenegro takes 24–48 h from confirmation. You can also collect in one of the 7 MobileLand stores.
