H4 bulbs

H4 is a dual-filament bulb (P43t, 60/55 W): one filament for low beam, one for high beam, in the same headlight. Typical for older and smaller cars, vans and motorcycles.

Yes — an H4 LED has two LED arrays that mimic the two filaments, and switching works through the original connector. The chips must sit exactly where the filaments were, otherwise the beam scatters — that is why we only sell bulbs with controlled geometry.

LED draws a fraction of the current of a halogen bulb, so the CANBUS system assumes the bulb is missing. The fix is an error canceller (resistor/decoder) wired inline with the bulb — the warning disappears. For T10 and festoon a CANBUS version of the bulb is usually enough.

All LED and xenon bulbs come with a 12-month warranty. If a bulb fails within that time we replace it, no fuss. Halogen bulbs are consumables — the warranty covers manufacturing defects only.
