D3S bulbs

D3S is the newer OEM xenon bulb (from ~2008) with a built-in igniter, mercury-free, running at 42 V. Fits projector headlights (S) with a D3 ballast.

Because of the built-in igniter and mercury-free technology — it is more complex to make. That is why we also offer pairs: xenon is replaced two at a time, an old and a new bulb never match in colour.

4300K is the OEM slightly warm white and gives the most usable light. 5000–6000K is pure white — a more modern look at nearly the same output. Above 6500K the light turns bluish and cuts through rain and fog worse, so we do not recommend it for headlights.

All LED and xenon bulbs come with a 12-month warranty. If a bulb fails within that time we replace it, no fuss. Halogen bulbs are consumables — the warranty covers manufacturing defects only.
