Suspect the ballast when the headlight does not flash at all on switch-on, when it strikes only on the second or third try, or when swapping bulbs left-right does not move the fault. If the light strikes and dies after a few seconds, it is more often the bulb.
Which ballast do I need?
The ballast must match the bulb (D1 / D2 / D3 / D4 — voltage and igniter differ) and, on factory xenon, the type and connector of the original. Send us the marking from the old ballast (e.g. Hella 5DV, Valeo 6G, Denso, Mitsubishi) or a photo — we tell you exactly which replacement fits.
Can I fit a ballast myself?
On most vehicles the ballast sits under the headlight, held by a couple of screws and two connectors — a 20–30 minute job. Switch the lights off and wait a minute before working: the ballast output is several thousand volts at strike.
What warranty do the bulbs carry?
All LED and xenon bulbs come with a 12-month warranty. If a bulb fails within that time we replace it, no fuss. Halogen bulbs are consumables — the warranty covers manufacturing defects only.
How do I pay and how long does delivery take?
Payment is cash on delivery and courier delivery across Montenegro takes 24–48 h from order confirmation. MobileLand imports directly and keeps stock on hand — no waiting for a supplier.
