JWD-U62 is a wireless USB WiFi network card with an external directional antenna, designed to receive distant and weak signals that a standard built-in card can barely see. This is a practical solution for situations where the router is on another floor, in another wing of the house, or when you need a connection from the yard, garage, or vacation home. The device simply connects to the computer's USB port, after which the driver is installed and available networks appear on the list.

The key advantage of this model is the round dish antenna with 5 dB gain mounted on a black base with a joint. Since it is directional, it gathers the signal from the direction you point it to, providing a much more stable connection where a small built-in chip sees only one bar or no signal at all. The base with the joint allows you to precisely aim the antenna — turn it towards the router, tilt it as needed, and leave it in the optimal position.

In practice, JWD-U62 allows a desktop computer without a WiFi card to get a wireless connection, and provides a laptop or computer on the edge of the range with usable internet instead of constant dropouts.
